They cut and seal dough for making authentic empanadas, dumplings, appetizers, calzones, stromboli, desserts, pastries, pocket sandwiches, turnovers and other pocket-style foods and pastries. Simply roll out dough to desired thickness. Use the flat edge of the desired size Empanada Press to cut a perfect circle of dough. Turn the press over, lay the cut dough over the teeth, and gently form a well in the center. Spoon filling into the well, moisten dough edges with water, and fold the press closed to crimp and seal the pastry. Bake, fry, or steam the filled pastry according to the recipe.
